Course Overview
The Regional Skills Training (RST) Diploma Programs offer training under either of the following qualifications:
- AHC50122 Diploma of Agriculture
- AHC51422 Diploma of Agribusiness Management
These courses are designed for future farm business managers. It is also suitable if you are interested in becoming, or already working in:
- Farm administration
- Farm production management
- Agronomy
- Station/property management
Students participating in this course have the opportunity to upskill and focus on the business side of their enterprise. This program is suited to all sectors across Primary Industries including broadacre cropping, livestock, pastoral, mixed farming enterprises, dairy, fruit and vegetable, viticulture, nurseries, irrigation and production horticulture.

Why study with us?
For groups of 15 people or more, RST will travel to your local region and conduct face to face workshops or students may choose to study through open learning options. RST utilises both in-house lecturers and local industry experts to deliver these topics which are relevant to farming and to local farming areas.
RST understands the busy times around seeding and harvest and we structure our training around these busy times. You can enrol and commence your training at any time.
By attending all scheduled workshops and completing all assessments a course should take between 18 months and three years to complete depending on your needs and work commitments.
